CULINARY EXCURSIONS
As part of the one week program we take you on a full-day culinary excursion. A behind-the-scenes
look shows the source of Tuscan specialties. If you are staying at
Casa Ombuto you will visit a salami factory; a sheep and goat farm
that makes fragrant pecorino cheese;

On excursion for pecorino cheese

an olive oil mill complete with
olive oil tasting; and a wine tasting and you will have time for shopping
in Arezzo. We follow that with an afternoon visit to a Tuscan textile
manufacturer in Anghiari and it culminates with a dinner in a rustic
Tuscan restaurant where nearby the castle in Poppi stands guard. If
you are staying at Torre del Tartufo the excursion takes you to the
Casentino valley with a visit the Castle in Poppi, The Pieve di Romena,
a cheese factory in Pratovecchio, a traditional chestnut and cereal
mill and at the end of the afternoon a wine farm for wine tasting.
Before dinner a visit to a Honey producer and a ceramic factory with
beautiful Tuscan ceramics and earthenware. You finish the day off
with a wonderful dinner in the famous fish restaurant in Giovi.

Vacations style. Enjoy the lovely villa and its surroundings.
Take a dip in the pool. Stroll through vineyards, olive groves, forests
and orchards. Go sightseeing in the area each
lovely town has its own personality.

to join us. Your guest can spend the day enjoying the pleasure of
life at our Tuscan villa, sightseeing or playing golf. We invite your

Our two cooking schools in Tuscany offer you a choice
of the best of either Italian, Tuscan or Mediterranean cuisine. Tuscany
Cooking Chefs share their culinary techniques
that will make you, too, a star in the kitchen. These pros give their
hands-on lessons in English in an informal, relaxed setting. Then
dine together at the conclusion of each lesson and over lunch admire
your culinary talent.

certificate upon completion of the Tuscany Cooking Course. |
