IN OUR TUSCAN VILLA CASA OMBUTO
Upon arrival at Casa Ombuto, most Tuscany Cooking School
guests say immediately that our photographs do not do the villa
and its land justice⦠reality is even better!

The roses in bloom at Casa Umbuto |
Casa Ombuto is a Tuscan villa that pre-dates 1800 (its original section
dates to at least 1642). Set in a secluded hilltop it offers absolute
peace and quiet with spectacular views of the surrounding hills and
villages, Pratovecchio and Poppi with
its enchanting castle. |

The teak colonial-style furniture custom-made for us in Bali reflects
our passion for international travel and collecting international

TORRE
DEL TARTUFFO
Torre Del Tartufo is a spectacular villa set in the hillside near
Arezzo. This majestic pre-dates 1600 and takes its name from the estate.
surrounding the Tuscany Cooking School, making it famous
in the area and wonderful for seeing how truffles are found and, of
course, how to prepare these in many wonderful dishes. We suspect
that the original villa may once have been a chapel, that over the
centuries expanded in sections as the community. |

We
updated it with 21st-century conveniences plus classy details like
terra cotta floors, marble inlay, and marble bathrooms, but have retained
is beautiful, original Tuscan charm. The furnishings reflect our international
travels and lifestyle. We introduce you to the works of local artists,
which you will see hanging on our walls. The villa is very secluded
and has a view that seems to go on forever, yet is very close to Arezzo.
